If you have not taken and completed 1 semester of 100-level general biology and at least 1 semester of 200-level organic chemistry, enrollment may be granted on an as-approved basis. Please contact the faculty member to seek approval ONLY IF these minimum requirements have not been met.

Dr. Brian Kalet earned his B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Massachusetts in 2002 and his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Colorado in 2008. He then participated in postdoctoral research at the Animal Cancer Center at the Colorado State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital studying biomarkers of tumor growth, metastasis and chemoresistance. Dr. Kalet then accepted a position in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology where he currently teaches upper division undergraduate biochemistry courses.
